Implementation of the National Laboratory Quality Control Program in Georgia A) Objective: to create a model of the National Laboratory Quality Control Program in Georgia for the diagnosis of hepatitis C and to support the state hepatitis C treatment program by providing external laboratory control schemes for clinics participating in the program. B) Ways to implement the project: 1. Implementation of external control schemes for serological and molecular laboratories of the Lugar Center. 2. Preparation of external control schemes for clinics participating in the State Hepatitis C Treatment Program, including the creation of relevant documentation, preparation of professional panels, dissemination and analysis of results. 3. Provide quality control results analysis to participants and stakeholders in external control schemes, as well as plan and implement corrective actions in case of discrepancies (C) Expected results: Implementation of external controls for the serological and molecular laboratories of the Lugar Center.
