"Strengthening surveillance of micronutrient deficiencies in Georgia" 1. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA; 2. Based on the results of the tender, a contract will be signed with the winning organization. The project will be implemented in 4 regions of Georgia: Tbilisi, Kakheti (Lagodekhi), Adjara (Batumi) and Samegrelo (Martvili). The state of micronutrient deficiency in the selected target groups will be determined. The project will monitor the spread of neural tube defects (NTDs) (data will be collected from pregnant sentinels on a monthly basis). The project will include anthropometric measurements in children aged 12-23 months. Project implementation dates: 09/30/2019- 08/31/2020 Budget: $40,000 The person responsible for the project implementation: Robison Tsiklauri - Project Manager 599 16 56 06 robizont@yahoo.com
