Maintain the influenza surveillance capacity of national health authorities outside the United States A) Objective: The project is aimed at strengthening the influenza surveillance system in Georgia through the introduction and readiness of a laboratory base; creation of a laboratory base that can detect human infection with various influenza viruses; b) Project implementation methods: Research: support bases are located in different cities of the country (Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Akhaltsikhe and Zugdidi); 3. The medical institutions involved in the study acted in accordance with pre-established protocols and rules. (C) Expected results: Maintain and strengthen the influenza surveillance system in Georgia.
