Dear Sonja,

Thank you for continued collaboration. Hope this e-mail finds you well.

Medication Omeprazole is not covered by the UHC program for the outpatient care.

As for the Avastin – medication for the patients with cardiovascular diseases is included in the list of medications for chronic illnesses and fully covered for the beneficiaries (pensioners, veterans, persons with significant and profound disabilities, socially vulnerable population, whose ranking score is up to 100 000, population living in the boundary line of the occupied territories of Georgia) of the UHC program. For the rest of the population the cost of medication Avastin is not covered within the state health program.

If you require any additional clarifications, please let us know.

Currently, I am waiting the details regarding the last case from the Health Care Division of the Ministry and provide you response letter this week.

Thank you once again for cooperation.

Kind regards,

Maia Nikoleishvili MPA

Dear Maia,

I hope you are doing well!

I’ve got two tiny additional questions to the response in this case:

The medicine Avastin and Omeprazol are not covered by UHC or sub-programs?

Is the out-of-pocket payment for non-vulnerable patients 10% or more?

Have a good day!
Sonja

Dear Sonja,

Hope you are doing well. Please, find the enclosed response letter regarding the case RK-10-516.80 E palliative care/carcinoma. Another one will be provided today and the rest cases early next week.

Due to the ongoing activities and very busy schedule regarding the coronavirus outbreak, information preparation on requested cases has been delayed.

Dear Maia,

I hope this email finds you well.

Kindly I would like to forward to you another request concerning epilepsy. It is another requests and by chance also a 4 year old child. It wasn’t possible for me to put all questions together in one document, as I have to keep the cases separated.

Best regards

Sonja
