Dear Sonja,
Please, be informed that children with epilepsy syndrome (G40.1- G40.9) are provided services under the “Support of Early Childhood Development Sub-program”, which is a part of the “Social Rehabilitation and Child Care State Program” as it is stated in the 2nd and 3rd paraghraphs of the letter 01/1867 of Ministry.
In addition, children with disabilities/on the basis of the diagnosis - "Delay in Developmental Stage" (R62.0) - can be included in the services of the "Child Rehabilitation / habilitation Subprogram", which is provided to the beneficiary only at the rehabilitation center (paragraph 4 of the letter).
Rehabilitation center is an open accomodation for several hours a day in this service and is free of charge.
The inclusion of a child into the State Program for the Support of Early Childhood Development or Child Rehabilitation/habilitation Subprogram of the State Social Rehabilitation and Child Care Program can be ensured based on the written request from the legal representative of a child at the territorial unit of LEPL State Agency for Protection and Assistance of (Statutory) Victims of Human and Care”.
Thank you once again for continued cooperation.
Kind regards,
Maia

Subject: AW: medical request _epilepsy/accommodation
Dear Maia,
Thank you for providing the information in this case.
In this case I have additional requests, which were asked before but the information were not provided.
As the child is still with its parents, a foster care would not be necessary.
But it is very important to know, if there are special facilities for disabled children, where the child can stay permanently or for some hours a day.
Such as a school for disabled children, a kindergarten or a day care.
Are there accommodations like this?
Which accommodation is it?
Is it a closed or open accommodation?
How can the patient receive a place in this accommodation (application at the school for example)?
Are the costs of the accommodation covered completely or would a out-of-pocket-payment be necessary?
Thank you so much again!
Have a good day
Sonja

Dear Maia,
I hope this email finds you well.
Kindly I would like to forward to you another request concerning epilepsy. It is another requests and by chance also a 4 year old child. It wasn’t possible for me to put all questions together in one document, as I have to keep the cases separated.
Best regards
Sonja
