Dear Mr. Dieckerhoff,
Upon your request, on behalf of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, I would like to kindly inform you that according to the national legislation, patient is allowed to bring into the territory of Georgia certain amount (10 commercial packages) of medicine including unregistered medicines of 2nd and 3rd group for personal use.
The following list of medications from the provided list are applicable to be imported in Georgia:
Tamsulosin, creon capsules, Salbumatol drops, Inhalation therapy with saline solution, Isozid 300 mg, Eremfat 600 mg, Methotrexat, NOVAMINSULFON 500 mg, DICLOFENAC 50 mg, DICLOFENAC 50 mg, DICLOFENAC 50 mg, PANTOPRAZOL 20 mg და IBUPROFEN 600 mg
If the amount of imported medicine (2nd and 3rd group) for personal use exceeds 10 commercial packages, patient should provide medical record/document (Form N IV-100/ა) together with the prescription to the Customs Service in order to get permissions for the import of the certain number of medical products indicated in the prescription.
As for the medication Methaddict, Levomethadon 0,5%, 3ml, TRAMADOL 100 mg are not allowed in Georgian market, since it contains a narcotic substances. Therefore, the procedure for its import into Georgia has been approved by the Order N01-32 / N of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.
In order to bring drugs or psychotropic substances purchased in other country for individual needs into the territory of Georgia, an individual shall submit to the Customs Service of Georgia, together with the customs declaration:
(A) A copy of the prescription, translated into English, certified by a competent authority in accordance with the legislation of the country from which the natural person departs. The prescription should indicate the name, surname, gender, age, diagnosis, trade and generic name of the drug and / or psychotropic substance, dosage form of the drug, tablet (s), ampoule, etc. Number, order of administration, and duration of the prescribed treatment course (if the prescription form in the given country does not require the completion of the above data, then the data shall be included in the document referred to in subparagraph (c) of this paragraph);
B) Certificate of prescribing physician, translated into English, certified by the appropriate authority in accordance with the legislation of the country from which the natural person departs;
(C) a document confirming the authenticity of the prescription and the certificate, signed and stamped by an authorized person, issued by a duly authorized body of the country of departure of the natural person. The document shall indicate the name, legal address, contact person, telephone number and country of destination of this body.

attached you´ll find the updated list for the repatriation flight to Georgia in the beginning of April 2020.
We kindly ask you to inform us whether the drugs listed in the list may be imported into Georgia without a permission.
Unless we receive any other information from you, we assume that the drugs mentioned may be imported into Georgia without a permission.
You`ll receive any changes to the list or the exact flight details as soon as I am informed.
