Hello,
My name is Annabelle Timsit and I am a journalist with Quartz, based in London. I'm reaching out with timely questions. Please let
me know if you would like to answer these questions over the phone instead of via email.
Records show that Georgia purchased 2,000 Covid-19 tests from the Chinese company Shenzhen Bioeasy Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Both Spain
and Turkey have indicated errors in their supplies of tests from this company, and have returned them in part or in full. Has Georgiar's MInistry of Health experienced any issues with the test kits it purchased from this company? If so, have you returned any
of the tests, or do you plan to? Additionally, could you please specify if all the tests have been distributed to hospitals and are currently in use?
Thank you,
--
