In parallel with preventing the spread of the virus, the Georgian government is working intensively with international partners to mobilize financial support and minimize the effects of the crisis. The Donor Coordination Unit of the Government Administration now coordinates redirecting of the external aid to the COVID-19 needs, which envisages sector-based support (PPE, PCR test systems, technical assistance, expert consulting, trainings of health personnel etc.) from foreign governments and donor organizations.
