Dear Counsellor Devadze,
Thank you for reaching out with your request for support in this COVID-19 crisis. I am connecting you with Artem Padeyskiy, our business lead for Central Asia who can work with your ministry of health in supplying the required medical devices such as ventilators and patient monitors. For a full list of our COVID-19 solutions I include our website: https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/medical-specialties/covid-19#!=&triggername=menu_one
Please note that we are also working with the WHO and the WorldBank who have a special support program for more than 100 countries, including the financing. We would also be happy to connect your ministry to the relevant stakeholders in those organisations to explore how you can apply for their support. Philips has signed Long Term Agreements with both organisations to supply any of the qualifying countries that formally asks for support.
Yours sincerely,

Subject: letter from the Embassy of Georgia in the Hague
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to address you from the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in these challenging times.
Today the whole World is trying to tackle the novel coronavirus pandemic, which threatens to have severe and long-term impact on global economy, but especially on the economies of developing and economically vulnerable countries like Georgia. While it is widely recognized that the measures undertaken by the Georgian Government to contain the spread of the virus are successful, the severe consequences for most of the sectors of the Georgian economy and for everyday life of the Georgian people are unavoidable.
The pledges received from our partners and financial institutions to allocate substantial financial resources to help Georgia with the recovery are promising. However, there are number of short-term needs caused by the compulsory adjustment of the various sectors. Amongst them, the Georgian side has urgent needs in supplies of the healthcare sector, such as medical equipment and some medical appliances (the list of urgent needs of the Ministry of Health is attached).
Having into the consideration the above-mentioned, we are looking for material and/or financial assistance from various institutions, donor agencies and funds. While this may not be your direct profile, we would be extremely grateful if you could consider the possibility of assisting Georgia in any way in this extraordinary situation. Besides, any kind of advice/recommendation in this regard will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance. Looking forward to receiving your early reply.
Regards,
Maia Devadze
