Subject: FW: WEBINAR: Memo: WHO study visit to Swissmedic, 15-18 June 2020 in Bern, Switzerland - (Georgia)
Dear Tamar,
WHO Headquarters were planning to organize a study visit for the NRA to Switzerland in June, and due to COVID-19 crisis it was initially cancelled.
However, the final decision is to still organize it virtually, and even increase the number of days and participants (see the correspondence below).
In this regard, I would like to ask you to nominate up to 6 participants for the Webinar to take place on 15-19 June, preferably from persons dealing with Marketing authorization, Pharmacovigilance and Quality management system.
Thank you and best regards,
Silviu

Subject: WEBINAR: Memo: WHO study visit to Swissmedic, 15-18 June 2020 in Bern, Switzerland - (Georgia)
On behalf of the Regulatory Systems Strengthening (RSS) Team, we would like to follow up with the attached memo and inform you that we have finally been able to organize this study visit as a virtual online course using Webinar (it is not cancelled). This course will be conducted from 15 to 19 June 2020. Furthermore, this course is now enriched with more regulatory requirements to address current regulatory challenges to address COVID-19 pandemic. Please refer to the attached updated Terms of Reference (TOR) for further information. The national regulatory authority (NRA) of Switzerland, represented by the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic) in collaboration with the World Health Organization will host this course. As the course will be conducted through Webinar, a maximum of six participants per NRA can be accommodated, instead of three. The weblink to join the Webinar and relevant documentation and instructions will be shared with nominees before the course.
We would be very grateful if you would onforward the attached letter and updated TOR accordingly.
If you need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Dr Razieh Ostad Ali Dehaghi, ostadalidehaghir@who.int (responsible officer).
Best regards,
Ma. Bernadette Yap
