Please find
attached information about the CoroVent product. It is a cheap and efficient
lung ventilator. In short, in contrast to existing solutions, it focuses
specifically on the treatment of adult patients with the most severe course
of COVID19 in the ICU. The device meets the parameters for electrical safety
and does not affect magnetic devices in any way thanks to the ferromagnetic
packaging. All its components were made in the EU and meet all safety requirements.
The ventilator also contains a backup power machine of an additional 4 hours
in case the power goes out or the patient needs to be transferred. This
solution was created during the outbreak of a pandemic by leading Czech
experts from CVUT university, such as Professor Roubík, who has been a
leading expert on ventilators for 25 years.
We are applying for Czech Challenge fund, organized by UNDP. Applications
must be submitted by June 30, 2020, so thank you in advance for your early
reply.
Currently, we're operating at the UNDP framework of 40.000 USD for the
whole operation. 1 ventilator costs around 10.000 EUR. We want to deliver
as much as possible but logistic and other costs can cut to the USD amount
significantly. We can build a few dozens of ventilators every day and continue
in delivering them even after the first UNDP cooperation. We would then
like to obtain sponsors for further development after acquiring contractual
partners.
