Dear Maya,

We hope this mail finds you well.

We received the proposal from the Desk Officer for the Development Cooperation of the Estonian Embassy, Mr. Margus Gering (copied here). Estonian partners expressed readiness to provide  sanitizer dispenser solution for Georgia in the framework of Humanitarian Aid. As 2,000 L out of  15,000 L was provided by the GIZ/BMZ, could you please confirm the necessity of the remaining 13,000 Liters? Please, clarify.

In addition, on April 16, 2020, the Ambassador of Estonia, H.E. Kai Kaarelson sent an e-mail to the First Deputy Minister, Ms. Tamar Gabunia, offering two separate tools for current crisis management related IT-solutions (CoNurse & VizKey), however, the Estonian Embassy has not received any feedback yet. We all understand the crowded schedule of your Ministry  and in this light we kindly request to help us to get the  information weather the MOH is interested in the above-mentioned IT-solutions? We will send a separate email forwarding Ms. Ambassador's message to the MOH.

We encourage you to respond to Mr. Gering directly, however, we would ask you to keep us in CC on further communication.

Many thanks for cooperation and support.

Stay healthy!

Best regards,
DCU Team

Dear Tamar,

Hope this e-mail finds you well!

First of all, I have a quick request to double-check on particular items listed here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11wSsKMkd1b46BGKNS6QxlrNfylN7m-WR/edit#gid=1465627023:

1.    Ministry of Env. and Agriculture → column E11: Disinfectants (wide spectrum: antiviral/antibacterial) / 1000L

2.    Ministry of Env. and Agriculture → column E17: Hand disinfectants (500 ml volume each) / 300 units

3.    Ministry of Health → column C5: Sanitizer dispenser solution / 15 000L (As I see, GIZ/BMZ will provide 2000L out of 15 000L and task is completed, but what about the remaining 13 000L?).

Hereby I would like to confirm our readiness to provide the Government of Georgia with the above-mentioned items in the framework of humanitarian aid. Yet, before we start with the necessary procedures, I kindly ask you to confirm whether those items are still in demand and in which quantity.

Secondly, I would like to touch upon the e-mail which was addressed by my Ambassador to the Deputy Minister Ms. Gabunia (CC-d to DCU, please see from 16.04). In this e-mail my Ambassador informed Ms. Gabunia that in the framework of the humanitarian aid and development cooperation package the Government of Estonia is considering to provide the Government of Georgia two current crisis management related IT-solutions (CoNurse & VizKey). However, as of today we have not received any feedback on this issue. Therefore, I kindly rely on your kind assistance and facilitation in order to understand the necessity of those IT-solutions.

Last but not least, as soon as we have finalized the humanitarian aid and development cooperation package tailored to the COVID-19 crisis, we will send you more formal and detailed letter for your reference.

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me any convenient time for you!

I wish you strength and healthy times!

Best regards,

Margus Gering
