Dear Mrs. Nikoleishvili,

I hope this mail finds you well.

Referring to our conversation from 28 May 2020 regarding a humanitarian package from the Republic of Bulgaria, I would like to inform you that we have sent Note verbale 28/ 2020 dated 29 May 2020 to MFA with a copy to Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, including a detailed description of the package.

As the delivery is about to arrive on 4th June 2020, I would appreciate, acting upon instructions, if I could meet you or a representative of yours ahead of that. It would be best if we could meet tomorrow, 2nd June, at a time of your/ your representative’s convenience.

Thank youvery much in advance.

Wishing you a nice day,

Respectfully,

Christiana Christova

Dear Ms. Christova,

Many thanks for your response and for your assistance in such difficult time for all. All the assistance provided by our partners is highly appreciated.

As your humanitarian delivery package consists of equipment kits for medical personnel, let us introduce you Ms. Maia Nikoleishvili (cc-d here), acting head of International Relations and Protocol Division of the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, who coordinates the emergency needs within the MOH. She will clearly figure out where to direct your assistance best.

You are free to communicate with each other directly, however, we would ask you to keep us in CC, so that we could reflect the information in our database.

Thank you once again for your support.

Best regards,

DCU Team

Dear colleagues,

Thank you for sharing this important information with us. I would like to inform that a humanitarian delivery package, donated from the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, is about to arrive towards the end of May/ beginning of June. It will consist of 500 protective equipment kits for medical personnel. Our idea is to donate them to vulnerable people resp. institutions dealing with them such as care centers etc.

As I can see in the google file, some institutions are still in need of such kind of the items with no donor indicated so far. In this connection, we would appreciate any information about how to get in touch with the relevant stakeholders/ representatives in order to ensure a smooth and timely delivery. Any information about other potential beneficiaries would be more than welcome.

Thank you very much in advance,

Dear Christiana,

Hope this message finds you well.

The Administration of the Government of Georgia is compiling the information about the COVID-19 related GoG needs and Response Initiatives by our partners. In this regard, we have developed a spreadsheet document that is updated on a daily basis with entries of the emerging requirements:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/11wSsKMkd1b46BGKNS6QxlrNfylN7m-WR/viewIt will ensure that we have a picture of everyone’s needs and contributions in one space.

We understand that all countries have difficult times now, but still, you are kindly requested to let us know if the Bulgarian Government is able to provide any assistance for the needs identified in the document, or redirect the existing assistance to COVID-19 needs.

Please, let us know if you have any questions related to the document.

Thank you for all your support and cooperation.

Wish you a good health.
