1.  Meeting Account

 

1.1. I did not receive any invitation to create my meeting account

We use the email provided during registration to send you the invitation.

Look in your inbox and spam filter for an email from noreply@who.int with the title “Your access information to participate in WHA73” - Message in all the 6 WHO official languages.

If you could not find the email, please inform your focal point who will update the registration system.

 

1.2. I did receive an email but do not receive an SMS when validating my account

This would mean that the phone number that you entered during registration was incorrect. Please reply indicating that you do not receive SMS and specifying your number.

2.  Access conference platform

 

2.1. What are the links for the meeting?

The platform used for WHA is Interprefy with the following links for speaker. You will use your account that you previously validated.

 

If you are the designated speaker from your country for a specific session:

2.2. How can I upload the video statements for my country?

Style: Straight-to-camera

Technical Specifications:

 

·     HD video (preferably 1080/50i)

·     Landscape/horizontal format (preferably 16:9)

·     MP4 video

·     Clean HD audio in stereo mode

·     Camera mounted on tripod

·     No fade-in or out

·     Please do not include any text, logo, emblem or other visual on-screen

·     Maximum length: preferably maximum 5 minutes

 

 

Art direction:

 

·     Video should be framed with the subject looking directly into the camera lens.

·     Subject preferably should be seated, with limited movement and gestures

·     Framing medium-wide, please see attached guidance photo

·     Well lit, with even lighting if possible

 

Additional request:

 

·     To facilitate transitions to the video and to allow for the interpreters to finish before transitioning out of the video, kindly film three static seconds at the beginning of the video before beginning to speak, and allow five static seconds at the end of the clip. During these moments, have the subject look into the camera and not speak

 

 

2.3. What is needed to connect?

You need a computer, a Chrome browser, and preferably a headset.

If you are joining from a meeting room, please ensure that the person speaking is close to the microphone. Please test as much as possible to get used to the platform: https://interpret.world/login=S-WHO-QA-test

 

2.4. What is a Speaker

A speaker is a designated role in the conference platform. The speaker could be allowed to make participate by audio and video. The meeting moderator controls to allow speaker to start sharing their audio and video.

The list of speakers must be communicated through the registration process.

 

2.4.1. Can we change our speakers list in the middle of a session?

No, for each session you will have designated speaker in advance. Please follow the deadlines set for the registration.

2.4.2. When is it my turn to speak?

Check the List of Speakers , link also available to all delegates via the SharePoint portal site.

The list only shows the order, so no exact times are available.

 

2.5. What is a Viewer

A viewer is a designated role in the conference platform. The viewer will not stream audio or video. The list of viewers must be communicated through the registration process.

3. Support
