Excellencies,

I hereby inform you that the Programme and Policy Committee (PPC) virtual meeting will be held on 26 and 27 May this year, please find attached the material of the upcoming discussions together with the Agenda encompassed in one document.

Agenda items alongside with regular points will include the issue of implications of COVIC-19 to GAVI 5.0 operationalisation, Review, Updates on COVID-19 Pandemic Response as well as Vaccine Development Access and Delivery, GAVI 5.0 Measurements Framework/ Strategy Indicators as well as detailed review of GAVI Gender Policy.      

I would like to emphasize the importance of the fact that GAVI is entering such a stage of development of the 5.0 Strategy where adjustments have to be made in the light of the current pandemic. In this respect your recommendations, comments or general feedback on this issue as well as other topics of the agenda are welcome.

For our Russian speaking colleagues, a brief version of the document in Russian will be shared shortly.   

I appreciate if  you can send over any comments or recommendations despite the difficult and hard times for all us imposed by the current pandemic, and, I should stand ready to provide support or clarifications if needed.
