“Thank you for your email. We totally understand your concerns and, therefore, would like to further clarify the need as well as outcome of Fraud and Corruption agreement.
First of all, the spread of pandemic was abrupt and caused exhaustion of otherwise scarce government resources, including funds. In hope to receive the International Financial Institutions’ financial help, Government of Georgia mobilized
unprecedented funds from its limited budget. The replenishment of this funds is now a paramount importance.
Secondly, the presented Fraud & Corruption Agreement is the written approval that the contract was not signed on a fraudulent basis and you as a firm are not sanctioned and debarred from the Bank. Which is true even without this agreement.
It is also written consent that you will collaborate with the World Bank in case they request
related documents to this procurement only.
I hope for your understanding and consequent collaboration.
Should you seek further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out.”
