My name is Dr. Brad Mattson. I am a radiologist from the United States and the founder of Neo Health. The Neo Health team visited Tblisi in September 2018 and met with several doctors and members of the Georgia health department. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it to that meeting due to a family emergency.
At the meeting, the Neo Health team discussed bringing both an evidence based medical guidelines platform and a modern electronic medical record (EMR) to Georgia. We believe that Georgia would benefit greatly from having a national guidelines platform which consists of the most up-to-date guidelines from Europe as well as existing Georgia nationap guidelines. Physicians in the United States and Europe use guidelines every day to treat patients according to the latest evidence.
We are partners with Duodecim from Finland, a company that specializes in creating and maintaining evidence based medical guidelines for over 20 years. Our guidelines platform is fast and responsive across all desktop and mobile devices, and allows physicians to edit and create new guidelines. Doctors use on a daily basis to manage and treat patients. We are also developing an electronic medical record which will integrate with the guidelines platform and provide clinical decision support for physicians. The EMR will be completed this year.
It would be a great privilege of mine if we could set up a conference call so I can describe our project in more detail and show you a working demonstration of the guidelines platform. We can provide the guidelines platform and EMR to doctors everywhere in Georgia at very low cost because the software is completely web-based and does not require installation of new equipment in hospitals.
