Many thanks for your call and inquiring what are our needs related to COVID19 response. The following are priority areas in which we would appreciate GIZ support:

1.       Social Distancing Measures        

•to develop guidelines on social distancing measures (e.g., in phases)

•to operationalize existing or new laws and regulations, support coordination among sectoral ministries and agencies, and support the ministries of health on the caring of health and other personnel involved in pandemic control activities.

•     personal hygiene promotion, including promoting handwashing and proper cooking, and distribution and use of masks

•     increased awareness and promotion of community participation in slowing the spread of the pandemic

2.       To enhance capacity of health facilities in critical care and case management

·         International technical assistance for building COVID19 case management capacity

·         Procuring ventilation machines for state owned hospitals ( 100 machines)

·         Personal Protective Equipment (masks, gloves, Gown, hand sanitizers) Please find the attached list. Any amount of these items would be highly appreciated.
