I hereby inform you that GAVI Alliance Board meeting will be held virtually on 24 - 25 of June this year.

Find please attached the Agenda of the Board meeting alongside with a comprehensive package of material related to the items to be discussed in detail during meetings.

This time I would like to emphasize the two following important items on the Agenda for decision by the Board: Strategy and implications of COVID-19: Gavi 4.0 progress, Challenges and Risks and update on Gavi 5.0 operationalisation (item 3), and the Gavi Gender Policy (item 7). As communicated earlier, the GAVI Alliance has been developing an institutionalized new approach for MIC countries for the period of 2021-2025. Situation with COVID-19 pandemic, however, has introduced changes to this strategy, and full information regarding these changes is included in the attached document under the item 3 of the Agenda. In addition, two items are presented for guidance: COVID-19 Vaccine Development (item 5), Access and Delivery Gavi 5.0: Measurement Framework/Strategy indicators (item 6).

Your opinion and feedback is highly welcome and appreciated and we would be happy if you could provide it before the end of the next week 20 June, 2020.
