Please find attached the Form of Requirements for Self-Isolation for U.S. diplomat Patrick Reardon, who will be returning to Tbilisi from the United Kingdom via Paris on 20 March. He traveled to the United Kingdom from Tbilisi via Istanbul on 16 March. He will be met by his spouse Jeanette Reardon upon arrival and be transported directly to his residence in Zurgovani Diplomatic Village for self-isolation for 14-days. Please let us know if you require any additional information in advance of his arrival.

                NOTICE

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia presents its compliments to the Diplomatic Missions and Representations of International Organisations accredited to Georgia and in addition to the message of Mr. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, with regard to COVID-19 outbreak, has the honour to bring the following to the Missions' attention: 

 

The Georgian Government has been taking all possible preventive precautions to minimize the spread of Novel Coronavirus.

 

Taking into account the existing situation, we count on your understanding and kindly request to reduce movement of members of diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia (along with their family members) as much as possible to and from Georgia when it comes to ‘High-Risk’ countries as determined by the Georgian Government.

 

Meanwhile, in order to facilitate smooth and hassle-free passage of members of diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia (along with their family members)​ in case of any such arrival to Georgia, we further request to fill the attached FORM OF REQUIREMENTS FOR SELF-ISOLATION at least 3 days prior to the arrival and send it to the following e-mail address  covisolution@moh.gov.ge

 

This will help relevant authorities and services to check and approve the PLACE OF SELF-ISOLATION IN GEORGIA before the arrival of a person.

 

Given the current circumstances of the danger of a COVID-19 outbreak, it is in the interest of all involved parties that the laws, regulations and recommendations issued by the receiving state are thoroughly applied.
