გიგზავნით გაეროს ადამიანის უფლებათა საბჭოს მიმდინარე 44-ე სესიის ფარგლებში,  არგენტინის, გერმანიის, იორდანიისა და ფილიპინების მიერ ინიცირებული რეზოლუციის პირველად პროექტს.

რეზოლუციის მიზანია სპეციალური მომხსენებლისთვის მანდატის 3 წლით გაგრძელება. ამასთან, თქვენ ყურადღებას გავამახვილებ მე-6 ოპერატიული პარაგრაფზე (OP6), რომელიც შესაძლოა ქართული მხარისთვის პრობლემური იყოს.

 გთხოვთ, განიხილოთ თანდართული რეზოლუციის პროექტი და გვაცნობოთ რეზოლუციის დასპონსორების მიზანშეწონილობის შესახებ 8 ივლისამდე.

Dear colleagues,

We are reaching out today as the Core Group on Trafficking (Argentina, Germany, Jordan and the Philippines). As your countries supported previous resolutions on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, we would like to share with you the zero draft of our resolution for HRC 44. The text includes the mandate renewal of the Special Rapporteur and also a thematic focus, emphasizing the need to “Strengthening human rights through enhanced protection, support and empowerment of victims of trafficking, especially women and children”.

Due to this special circumstances, we will not hold a Co-Sponsors meeting in person but we are very much looking forward to your important input in writing. Please send us your comments by Friday, 26 June, 10am.

One physical informal will take place, followed by written exchange if necessary. We will communicate further details at a later stage.
