Dear Minister, Dear Ivane,

Thank you very much for your support for this Technical assistance request. Government approval had indeed become absolutely required to take us out of the stalemate we had unfortunately ended up in.

With my colleagues from the Investment Board I want to assure you that this is very much appreciated.

Now Mr Irakli Elashvili has started his assignment today and the IB believes that he will bring a very valuable contribution to the setting up of the investment office of the Pension Agency and we also wish to express our gratitude to the World Bank for their assistance.

With best regards,

Olivier Rousseau
chair of the Investment Board of the Pension Agency

This is to let you know that we have reviewed and agreed with the TOR (attached) and, in close coordination with the Investment Board, confirmed selection and availability of Mr. Irakli Elashvili (CV attached) to perform tasks as detailed in the TOR, given his extensive experience in and in-depth exposure, in senior management positions, to both developed and emerging Georgian financial markets and corporate environments.
