Dear CCM Chair Vice Chair, and the Secretariat,

We are pleased to share information on the new agreement and Year 3 reporting below.

This email is in two parts.

1. GEO-CFUND-2009 (new agreement) -  By 21 February 2020 please submit the following attached documents.

a.       Facesheet – please update the information, the annual amount is USD 70,000

b.       Master Funding Table – please send us Year 1 budget for total amount of USD 70,000

                                                              i.      Please save this template to report on yearly expenditure and costed workplan.

c.       Performance Framework and Evaluation – No action needed.

                                                              i.      Please save this template to evaluate and report on yearly CCM evaluation.

d.       Bank Account – To confirm or to update any changes.

e.       CCM members endorsement of the budget

Kindly do not sign the new agreement now. Once we receive the budget and all relevant information we will send another email with the final documents for CCM signature. Should exceptions be required for the payment of salaries and other operational fixed costs, please do not hesitate to ask us for non-objection.

2. GEO-CFUND-1708 Closure/ Reporting – ends 29 February 2020. Before 15 March 2020 please submit:

1. Expenditure Report Year 3: To note, unspent funds at the end of the agreement cannot be reprogrammed and will be deducted from subsequent disbursement of the new 3-year funding period.
2. Performance Evaluation Year 3: Evaluation is based on the Performance Framework included in the Agreement. This assessment will highlight the overall performance of the CCM and its Secretariat during Year 3, in line with the performance-based CCM funding model. We would like to remind you that, as per Indicator 1 (CCM Secretariat’s evaluation), the Secretariat has to be evaluated each year by the CCM members. CCMs are free to define their own methodology for the assessment: what is important for us is to see that the results of the assessment are discussed during a CCM meeting.
