I.	Joint Program of Action of the US Department of Defense Threat Reduction Agency in the field of biology

1) The program was launched on the basis of an agreement between the Governments of Armenia and the United States in 2010. As part of the program, 3 laboratories of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia were repaired and modernized: the reference laboratory center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Shirak and Tavush regional laboratories, which were commissioned in 2016.:

3) the process of certification of biosafety cabinets was established: training of 6 specialists, provision of the necessary set of devices and certification of biosafety cabinets of laboratories of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Armenia:

4) Within the framework of the program, 2 scientific research works were carried out to map cases of tularemia and fever of unknown origin. Armenian specialists had the opportunity to participate in a number of international conferences in order to share their experience and acquire knowledge. A research program on brucellosis is currently underway in collaboration with GN:
5) With the assistance of the program, about 200 methodological, regulatory documents, and manuals have been developed and provided to NGOs.:

In connection with the introduction of the Integrated Electronic Disease Monitoring System (CDCC), which will be used to detect infectious diseases in real time, ensuring a rapid response. In connection with the introduction of CDCC, an interdepartmental multidimensional working group was formed to coordinate issues related to the introduction of CDCC, the RA legislation on this issue was studied, a vertical section of the system was developed, pilot testing of the system was conducted, and descriptions of diagnoses were revised. - 579 diagnoses, which were brought into line with the 10th international Classification of diseases, were reviewed and epidemiological examination cards (29 examination cards) were uploaded to the computer program, as well as a report form on registered infectious diseases, food, chemical poisoning and radiation damage, refresher courses were organized and conducted for all users, including About 86 workstations have been installed in the organizations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia (NPPO and APT), and 48 more workstations are planned to be installed in the near future., A pilot operation of the system was carried out, as a result of which problems were identified and proposals for making changes to the software were submitted to the Black end Vitch organization.:
