"Special reference Laboratory for dangerous pathogens"

A special reference laboratory for dangerous pathogens was built in 2014-2016 with the support of the Risk Mitigation Agency of the US Department of Defense. This is a two-storey building with an area of 1,500 m2, which meets all the requirements of international standards for the construction of such structures. All the equipment installed in the laboratory also complies with all international standards.
During this time, in consultation with our American portners (C2M-HILL), it was implemented:
• Knowledge with new equipment and facilities at relevant facilities (available)
• Specialized professional training of specialists, bacteriologists, serologists, ELISA, PCR (continuous)
• Training in working with software (EIDSS, PACS)
• Biodegradation and biosecurity of the entire laboratory staff in three stages (unsurpassed)
• C2M-Hill provided the laboratory with the necessary modern diagnostic kits, food products, and affordable funds personal protective equipment.
• A joint training center for continuous employee training has been built in a similar building of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
• All laboratory utilities are reimbursed as soon as the defects in operation and malfunctions are eliminated by the American partners.
